OddsMap Quick Start

Get your conflict map overlay live in under five minutes.

OddsMap is a real-time conflict intelligence overlay built for live production. Your invite gives you a private embed URL, default map layers, and browser-source controls that can be adjusted from the left sidebar during your show.

Your Embed URL

Use the private URL from your invite email or welcome page. If you are testing a server-rendered invite flow, this placeholder should be replaced automatically: {{EMBED_URL}}

Open the URL once in a browser before your show to confirm it loads, then paste the same URL into your streaming software's browser source settings.

Tips

Important: turn on a transparent background in OBS so the overlay sits cleanly over your scene instead of showing the full dark page behind it.

OBS Setup

  1. In OBS, click + under Sources and choose Browser Source. Name it something obvious like OddsMap.
  2. Paste your OddsMap embed URL into the URL field.
  3. Set the browser source size to 1920 wide by 1080 high.
  4. Enable a transparent background. In OBS, check the transparent background option if present, or use custom CSS: body { background: transparent !important; }
  5. Position the browser source above your gameplay or camera layers, then crop or scale it to match your scene layout.
Recommended scene layout Keep OddsMap in a full-frame browser source at 1920x1080. Place it above the base scene, then crop to the portion of the map you want visible. Leave room for your camera and alerts by anchoring the overlay to a side or lower-third region if needed.

Layer Controls

By default, the embed starts with these layers visible: zones, vessels, earthquakes, fires, and the news ticker.

Use the left sidebar during setup to toggle layers on or off. If the sidebar is collapsed, open it from the menu button, make your changes, then collapse it again for a cleaner live view.

What Is OddsMap

OddsMap combines prediction markets, OSINT event tracking, and live operational layers into one overlay. It is designed for livestream use, so the core map stays readable while still giving you access to side controls when you need them.
